The purpose and function of the Youth Department is to minister to the children and youth (ages 3 - 19) who attend New Life through special programs and activities designed specifically:

1. To bring the children into the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
2. To help build spiritual stability and consistency in our young people.
3. To encourage study, reading, and meditation in the Word of God.
4. To affirm the significance of prayer.
5. To establish and maintain personal contact with the parents.
6. To affirm young people's full significance as members of the Body of Christ.
7. To build and enhance Christian attitudes, character, and conduct.
8. To provide activities in a Christian environment for fun and fellowship.
